Selecting paint color for living room is quite challenging. You’re facing your need of making the room cozy for you to stay in all the year round and the color that can work well with your living room condition. To make it is always enjoyable for staying in the room; you’ll surely need to paint the room with your favorite or at least the one that you and the family likes seeing it in most of the time. And the color can of course vary from natural, light, to even bold colors. At the same time, the color should be able to be paired with the style you’re setting up in the living room and its condition such as the size and the room location. Thus, it sometime makes you switch your color choice from one you really want to apply to another applicable color. Well, it might be not so easy but it’s actually can be addressed by some ideas, which are typically simple. One example is for your small living room that you design in kind of casual living room that’s also designed as a reading area. You strongly cannot pain the entire room in all bold color though you really love the color. But, it doesn’t mean that you cannot totally apply the color.
You can still apply it as the color of your accent wall, painting the side where you put the focal point on in the color and the other sides in lighter color. If not, fake wainscoting is also applicable, bolder color for the lower side of the wall and lighter one for the upper area. Another idea is to lay wallpaper in your favorite color on one side of the wall or two. Applying your favorite color for the furniture is also a good idea. Thus, you can still enjoy the color, no matter how bold it is, without making the room appears too dark. In short, you can apply any paint color for living rooms you like to as long as it can be well-combined with all elements your living room has.
