If you have a daughter it is nice to have her bed has girly impression as a surprise for her birthday for example. The matter is you just bring “girl” impression to the room to create girly room. The problem is what is called “girly” is subjective from a region to another or a culture to another. The colours which are broadly accepted to represent girls are soft colour like pink and flowers or butterfly become the symbols which are broadly accepted to represent girly things.
Before you start the painting a girly room you should cover your floor with a cover for example a plastic sheet or worthless newspaper, to avoid the unexpected paint contaminates the floor. You may tape it to the edge of the wall to make sure that the cover will not move from the position. Now you start painting the wall. Paint the wall with primer paint then let it dry. Although the paint looks dry, but it can deceive you. You may find wall with dry-paint-looked, however it is still damp. To check it, you may touch the wall with your finger and find no paint on your finger.
Then you may start your painting with your second layer after the base layer is dry. After you have your second layer dry, you may stick any girly objects sheets to the wall to create the girl’s symbols. Paint it with acrylic paint to paint the symbol. Remember that acrylic paint is easier to be dry rather than the base paint and the second paint. After the acrylic paint is dry, and becomes like hard plastic if you touch it, you may paint it with the third layer paint to complete the objects colours and finish your girly room for your beloved daughter.
