When it comes to a house exterior design, we are often faced by the reality that it will simply just represent what inside, and what type of people living in there. Exterior design especially for a house actually is less complicated than the interior, because the points on the design to-do list is also lesser. The points in this context of exterior design can be anything that can be seen from outside, such as wall, fences, windows, doors, etc. Here, we are going to discuss the last one, a door. A door are typically small, but sometime we are just being puzzled by what color suits best for the door, and plus there are many paint color choices available in the market.
The most important thing to consider in choosing a color for door is that it will suits the color of the wall around the door. Suits here means when the two colors are combined they will not have a conflict, such as blue and green, red and pink, yellow and orange, etc. The conflicting color would make the exterior look weird, and make the eyes who look at it gets hurt. But for colors like black and white, even they look opposing each other, these colors can suits well, as example a white wall and black doors, or even black wall and white door which is pretty rare for this one. Using the same color as the wall for outside door colors also can be considered as a wrong move, because if the color just blend in the same look like that, you will just see like there is no door, like a soldier blending with bushes. Using colors like green and pink or red, purple and yellow, orange and blue can be a good choice to make your exterior become pleasing to the eye. Or just using varnish also not bad, because the natural color of the wood is actually already great to blend with any color you like.
Well, there are plenty of outside door colors, now your turn to choose which one is the best.
